Default Need windshield wipper blade size specs

Does anyone have the specs for the windshield wipper blade sizes for both the front and back windows? I could not find the specs being mentioned any where in the Owner's Manual.

I bought a 2000 RX300 for my daughter yesterday and I have been cleaning it up. I noticed that the front blades (need replacement) have different lengths (the one at the driver-side is 21" long and the one at the passenger-side is 19" long, measured fron tip-to-tip) and the one for the back window is shorter, measured at 17" long.

Arfe these the OEM sizes?

Somehow 24, 21 and 16 stick in my mind because I just bought some replacement blades at Pep Boys yesterday and just looked them up in the little book they had there by the wiper blades section. It's a lot cheaper to get them at an auto parts store than at Lexus, where the blades can go $20 USD or higher per blade.

Although I am not answering your question ..

The OEM inserts are good. [quality of wipe and life]

Lex is right, driver's side is 24, passenger's 21 and rear 16 manufacturer's size wise, may not be "actual" length +/- an inche. I've used 24/22/17 and they are fine too. The fronts won't cross with 24/22 and the rear with 17 covers slightly more area. The 16 are just too short.

As for OEM for replacements, I've always used replacements because if I wait for the right time to stock up at Target during clearance, I get a whole blade and holder (not just the rubber insert) for about $5-6. The Lexus original, which is just the rubber is $22.95 and you're using the existing metal insert and holder, which at times might be old already. At $6 for say RainX, the Lexus OEM is not going to last four times longer.

My wiper blades had just started to get eaten up within the last month. I had them on my RX since Dec. 2004.

One more thing about OEM inserts ... you should keep track of how the steel reinforcement come out .. they have a curve and you should re-use it exactly as they come off.
