99 rx300. Tried to start the other day and I just get a click, but my clock is not reset (symptom of low battery). So I charge it overnight and then it will start when the charger is still connected, but then when I take it off the charger, it just clicks. So I figure its a dead battery. I pulled it and the battery tested good at 2 different autozones today.

Could it be the starter is going out and requiring more power than a standard battery to crank it?

Any ideas would be appreciated.

If battery is good then it has to be one of the following:
Terminals
wires
switch
starter.

If its the starter, could just be the contacts are shot...see this:
