New owner intro.
Just thought I'd post to introduce myself.
My wife and I just bought a 2000 RX 300 yesterday.
I'll be using the search fuction more than posting but I'm sure I'll be around.

I took the gamble with a AWD with 58000 miles. It had a full list of dealer maintenance since new. I'm the second owner.
The color is a deep red / maroon, I don't know the "name" or code yet.
Tan interior.

That's a very nice color. You might want to get a rubber cover for the top of the rear bumper, if it doesn't have one. They weren't standard equipment that year. Also, you might want to do a transmission drain and refill if it hasn't been done. It's something all dealers don't necessarily do as routine maintenance.

That should be a nice vehicle -- and very low mileage! I joined the forum last fall when we bought a used '99. This place has been so helpful. Spend some time looking around, especially if you like to tinker on it yourself. Like you, I look a lot more than I post. Welcome, and good luck!
