Default Transmission issues.

While driving to work the other day through my neighborhood, my 2000 Rx300 quit moving..I cut it off and crunk it back and was able to get home. The whole way home it jumped and wouldn't hardly move. Now, it wont go into reverse unless I rev really high then it pops hard into reverse. Please help!!

What you state are the classic symptoms of a bad transmission.

You can start by checking the transmission fluid level and its condition. Next step you can do is drain the fluid and drop the transmission pan and replace the filter. Take pictures to share with transmission shop. If you observe improvement, do couple of drains and fill with some miles in-between.

You can consult with a trusted mechanic or transmission shop.
