Last year my RX300 was stolen, two months later it was recovered with only minor damage(very lucky).
The right hinge on the glove box had been ripped off, and I've had the back of my brain trying to figure out a cheap bush fix.
I'm pretty pleased at the resulting sub $1 fix which I leave here for future reference to any who might be interested:
