Hello,
bought an RX300 about a month ago, with 102,000 miles. Beautiful, runs great. This morning, when I shifted to Reverse to back out of my garage, nothing happened. The car didn't move. Shifted back to Park then again to R, same thing. Shifted to D, no problem...the car moved forward. Tried reverse again, no go. I shut the engine off, started again...this time the engine started then immediately shut off. Tried to start it again...same thing.

I knew the battery was weak (because the clock was always resetting when I started the car). So I went ahead an replaced the battery...Started the car, engine shut off again. Tried it again...it stayed running this time. Shifted to Reverse...no movement.

Any ideas. is my Tranny gone?
