Found this in the driveway. What is it? Looks like a bumper for the suspension or something. Real heavy

Counter weight on exhaust near the catalytic converter, Lexmex and I both took it off our RXs because they do nothing but add dead weight to the car.

 

Was put on the vehicles for third harmonics vibration sound coming into some of the RX's was a early tsb on the old RX

That thing could kill someone if it took a bounce on the highway.

 

So how can it appear in OH?

 

That thing can rust itself off as I remember it having a lot of rust on it before I threw mine in the garbage a few years back.

There is also another weight on the driver's side near the rear that is saucer shaped, kind of like an upside down flower pot.
