Default wings

im in desperate need of a new wing. the stock wing on a 99 rx300 looks pathetic in my opinion. i can't find a pic of my style wing, but it's NOT this one

its the other one...maybe changed during some year

does anyone know of something like LiqrSicc has? some pics can be seen here

here's a picture of it

this was, however, the last one from the company he bought it from. any others similar?

--thanks

find it on ebay. search up Lexus rx300. and goto parts&accessories. it should show up some. or junk yard, or dealership.

i found this one...it's close but definitely not

does anyone see the difference? the lack in curviness compared to LiqrSicc's

the one that's not LiqrSicc's is flat and straight. LiqrSicc's has a lot of curves...not just straight jagged line across

i will admit it does look good...but it's not exactly what im looking for. that one is very straight cut. i am looking for something with something more curvy like LiqrSicc's...i can't find any that have that same curivness...i only can find ones that are "oem replicas," or "replacement" parts. i can't find any that, i guess, are custom like that. any ideas?

$270.99 painted? Isn't that a bit much?

I have the "slope down" version that's parallel with the rear glass. I personally like that version since there are less RX with them, but I guess you have that version and don't like it, so that's that. I believe there are several E-bay listing at moment for the "stick out" version, but $225 is kind of steep.

Best bet is L-Tunedparts... you'll be paying full price though. Try giving Rod Millen Motorsports a call. They told me I had the last one but who knows

Are you talking about this sloped-down one from my RX300 that I gave to my cousin for his Golf?

How come they don't make a wing the exact height of the roofline? Like the Ford Edge? Anyone have any other wing options besides these 2 listed?

I think that "slope down" version, was the only one available only in '99 - '00. I opted against it because I'd had similar wings on a couple of Ford Ranch Wagons in the '70's, and they were not technically "aerodynamic devices"; they were designed to dump air over the back glass and keep it from getting covered with dust. The Ford version failed at this task miserably, actually directing dirt onto the glass under some conditions. I rather like the "straight out" version that came along later.

just buy a wing for a civic or something, chop off the two things that you bolt it to the trunk with, and 3M it to the edge of the rear hatch haha
