Default rear lower control arm bushing part#?

Any one knows the part# or where to get it? I am just trying to avoid replace the whole arm.

jimmouse,

I am not sure from my recollection (after having replaced both arms) that you can get the bushing independently. In fact my uncle and I tried to remove said bushing and it was next to impossible to figure out (couldn't figure out how to get it out).

I looked over LS and IS, GS, forums. Those guys used some sort of puller. I think it can be done if I can get new bushings. I took off the rear wheel. The bolt and nut are accessible, if not very easily.

I also want to try pulling mine out REALLY HARD the next time I have this issue. The manual itself doesn't show that it can be pulled out, and my uncle and I tried to several times.

However, I think Daizen, one of our CL sponsors, had some bushings for the RX300, http://www.daizensporttuning.com/

They only make bushings for front arms.

My uncle told me that they make umpteen kinds of replacement bushings down here and that was what we were going to use should we have been able to get the bushings off.

That's too bad they do not make it here.

BTW, Lexmex, does your rear control arm set up look like mine? The diagram in the manual looks a little different.

Yep, same setup as you had in the other thread. Haven't had a problem with the rear...yet.

After searching for a few days, I gave up and ordered the whole rod from park place. In case any one need it, the part# is 48730-48050, $99.53.

Good to know on this. I promise you next time this occurs, even if I am back in the States, will take a look to see if it can be fixed by means other than trotting out to the dealer and replacing the arm/rod.

Abo****ely. Those bushings are wear & tear items, and replacable in many other cars. I just do not know why no body makes/sells them.

When you are talking control arm do you mean the trailing arm on the rear suspension? I am just interested for trying to follow what you are replacing.
