Default RX300 NAV Options

I have a 2001 Lexus RX300 Silversport with Nav and a buddy of mine reccomended this site to find out how to use the service tech's "code" (series of taps on the touchscreen) to get into another menu. This will allow me to change the nav information while driving. If any of you know this, could you please share the information. It's a pain on long trips, when we want to look up something or change an address and my girlfriend can't put anything in while I'm driving.

Also, does anyone know if there are any good inexpensive brake upgrades. My rotors are warped for sure and was looking for something that had better performance and could possibly last some time. Thank you

I have no idea on the navigation, my 99 didn't come with that option.

As far as brake upgrades and something cheap...that depends on how much you want to spend. Machining your existing rotors is a much cheaper option at the moment along with upgrading to a better brake fluid like ATE SuperBlue.

As far as pads, I took TunedRX300s advice and switched to Akebonos. I found these superior to the OEM pads and even better than other pads I had tried such as EBC and Hawk Performance.

I plan to eventually switch to Rotora rotors.
