Hey, I am working on a 99 RX300 and I was wondering what are the best kind of plugs to use, I have read that it's important to use the iridium plugs so I picked up some from Advance, NGK BKR6EIX-11
But then I looked at the owners manual and it says to use NGK IFR6A11
Advance does have some NGK IFR6T11, so a T instead of an A. After looking at this chart: http://www.spark-plugs.co.uk/pages/technical/ngkjpg.htm
it looks lie the T stands for 3-ground electrodes, while the A stands for some kind of special design feature.
I am planning on getting the IFR6T11 (the A doesnt seem to be available) but just wanted to see if anyone here familiar with using the NGKs? And which I should use?
the first set of plugs are fine. I just installed them on my car. They looked almost the same as my original plugs when i pulled them out so u dont need to worry. The plugs you bought are the ones most recommend by the people on the forum.

YES,
I agree that the BKR6EIX-11 are fine for your car... http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/part_fi...engineid=26655
Those are the exact plugs I put in my car about 7000km ago and run perfect.. I didn't even have to gap them, just installed as they came out of the box... Don't forget a bit of antiseaze for when you will be replacing them 100,000miles from now
