Hi,

My finance has a 2000 RX300. It did not come with a CD changer. So after doing some research, I picked up a used (working) changer for the RX, and got the glove box replacment (as the one in the car did not have the spot for a changer).

I posted here a while ago, and someone said all the RX300s have the changer wire already installed, all I needed to do was connect it.

So today (nice day here in CT), pulled off the old glove box and tried to look for a cable to connect the changer. I could not find anything. There are plenty of the same type of cables plugged into other things (some look like they are grounded to a empty connector or something) but, not sure.

Can someone give me a better idea on what I am looking for ? What color is the adapter that goes in the back of the changer ? Maybe where the cable is coming from ?

I hate to spend $200+ to have a changer installed when it should be just a connect and go type of thing.

Any idea ? !!!! (if someone has pictures, it might be even more helpful)
