Default Hole on door panel

I had posted about this earlier, but don't know what happened to the thread While moving my computer monitor into my new dorm room it turned sideways and hit my rear/passenger side door panel and put a big dent/hole in the door panel.

I didn't notice until a couple weeks later, but don't see how I missed it - it was horrible! I took my RX to the Lexus dealer today to have a leather repairman patch the whole. $95 and a fe hours later I am just busting and amazed! It can't tell it was ever damaged!! I'll have to say I am very impressed with the result.

So far my two experiences with Butler Lexus of Macon's service department have been positive. I got back to a washed car today after they transported me to and from Mercer University while my RX was being fixed. I can't get a loaner car (maybe in a year and two months when I finally turn 21).

Just thought I would share my exprience.

Cool good job, as long as your Rx is back to new then its all good... Damn you have to be 21 or over to get a loaner car??? what if the car name is under you and you are only 18 still? damn

Sadly you have to wait for 21 to be able to get a loaner. I think this is the policy at all the Lexus dealers I have been too. It makes sense, but I still wish I could get a loaner. I feel I am as responsible, or more so, than many older customers that get loaners. Oh well. I'm just glad the dealer is so accomodating by driving me where I need to go while my RX is being serviced.

A dealership would probably have to pay a heafty price for insurance if they let "under 21" customers have loaner cars.

Its not policy at all lexus dealers not to let you get a loaner car until you turn 21 . I have been getting a loaner car since i was 19 . They never sweat me about my age either . As long as you have insurance they should give you a loaner car . Cause whenever i get the loaner they ask for my insurance card . Sign the form then im off . Mabe its a georgia thing .
