is there a rx300 skid plate instead of the jaos one. im looking for a nice, cheap priced, but durable skid plate incase i feel like going mudding.

 

Did you ever find a skid plate? I was just wondering since i ruined the plastic stock one this weekend.

 

no i never did. i gave up and stopped looking for one a couple of days after i posted this. i was hoping someone found one.

 

The factory undercover is just a plastic to improve the air flow and is a splash shield at its best. It is by no means a skid plate.

The Joas plate is a skid plate and it does not cover enough of the bottom to be a splash shield.

With rivets and plastic from tray bottoms, one can easily repair the splash shield. I did that for my son's SC ... replacement (used) was in 3digits price ... not worth it.
