Turbo is still a little in the future, but I still want to get this kind of turbo, http://www.hiperturbo.com/

I tried emailing them and calling them and nothing, but will try again. The technology on the turbo is super high-tech. I like not having to use a turbo timer nor oil lines, but I want to see about this new 2.0 version of this turbo. Looks pretty too, but that turbo will be going at the joint of my exhaust manifold before the main cat, so might be tough to see.

I am almost positive somebody in Japan must have done a RX300 turbo, since they had those 1MZFE twin turbo applications from Topline Japan.

My goal is to make it something simple that everyone can do safely after I am done being the guinea pig.

However, I would highly encourage at least one of you to give bracket racing a try. All you have to is run the RX down the track 3-4 times and based on your fastest time, make it .1 faster (i.e. run 18.5 fastest then 18.4 is your dial-in). The guys at the track can usually explain the basic strategy, what you need to remember is if you are the slower vehicle (the one that gets to go first, basically just floor it and then about 100 meters before the finish check to see where your opponent is and if they are too far back (at least 2 car lengths), slow the car just a little bit with the brakes (you may go faster than your dial-in and may lose), but if you are the faster car then you have to just make that if you are in position to overtake your opponent (due to their bad reaction time, bad dial-in or just plain bad driving) to give it a little brake before the line if your opponent is at least 2 car lengths behind you, like I did with the Astra.

Bracket racing is quit fun and nobody cares how fast you are, just as long as you are quick off the light (I recommend closer to sea level going on the 3rd or last light until green) with your reaction times, drive straight down the track and be consistent with your times.

Also good is to leave the vehicle on throughout the entire duration, testing for your times and then while you race and open up the hood when parked.
