Bras, leave a tanning (inverse of tanning) mark due, when you take the bra off. The exposed paint fades while the covered up portion does not. The other problem is scratches that build under the bra (you really need to keep the thing clean and free of dirt). The edge of the bra also vibrates against the surface and you get line on the finish.
Clear strips, have a wax buildup on the edge and to some do not look great.
If the inention of the bra/clear is to provide protection against chips, you have the option to have them filled professionally.

Try 3M clear bra, protect both hood, bumper, headlight and fender. It won't reduce RX's aerodynamic, increase wind noise and decrease mpg. If your RX is not black, the color does not match. Ever seen anyone wear a baseball hat where the "tongue" is black and the rest has a different color?

Out of Warranty
We have a vendor or two here on CL for the 3M product, check them out on the vendor forms. Like window tinting, you can DIY, but it is an acquired skill and professional installation lets you take advantage of the installer's experience. Look for an installer in your area that can show samples of his work.
I used the Stongard product several years ago with great success, while other similar products like ClearBra and Xpel I believe, use the same basic 3M film. The difference between brands is primarily the precision and fit of the laser cut pieces. If you are going to try to DIY the job, you'll benefit from a warm sunny day, a couple of friends to help, and a shady place to work out of the breeze.
Good luck!

Isn't a clear bra really for when it's brand new without any scratches or dents? How does a clear bra look going over spots that are either touched up, or chipped already? Won't it leave an "air pocket" because it's not a smooth surface?
I have the "BRA" and I'll take a picture tomorrow when it's bright outside. I've had it for over four years now and I clean it every few months and wax the hood as I do this. My RX is garaged, so fading hasn't been an issue with me.
