Hi. I bought my 2006 RX330 just after Xmas. I previously had an RX300, 80K miles, without a days problem. I ove this new RX even more.
I do have one frustration tho, and the dealership is not helping me . From day one, the new burn off smell has been very pungent. I would have thought after a few hundred miles this would not even be an issue, but after 1300 miles I am still concerned. The smell, especially when idiling, in bumper 2 bumper traffic and in my enclosed garage, at times,is boderline toxic!
I have had it checled out by Lexus 3 times. They must think that I am a nut! They even told me to put th recycle air button on so the fumes dont come in! Has anyone else experienced this? Any recommendations? thnks, Brian
