Revised Brake Parts TSB
I have front brake squeak and downloaded the Lexus TSB that tells you how to fix it. It appears that 99-01 models are affected.
They recommend junking the original shim kits and clips for the updated version and the TSB includes the old and new part numbers.
Has anyone tried these new shims/clips and do they work?

There is also TSB on OEM pads clunking when car is put on reverse. Does anyone understand why Lexus put wear indicators on these clips instead of integrating them with front pads? This is a marginal design because of these TSBs and not service friendly - I would go aftermarket for a pair of ultra quiet ceramic pads and stop wasting time for these semi-metallic OEM pads.
