Lately I've noticed a strange vibrating noise coming from the rear view mirror area of my new RX. It is a weird noise and I'm not sure how to describe it. I've tried to pinpoint it, but I can't. It only does it when I am travelling under 40 mph, and is very hard to hear. Nontheless it is getting on my nerves. Anyone else ever have this problem??

 

First thing you want to do is check out the TSB's for your model RX. Don't know what a TSB is? or not sure where to look it up? Go to the Lexus Q&A section at the top menu bar for your answers.

I believe there was a TSB out for some wind noise coming from the rear-view mirror window panel. If that's not it, it could be the dash cover for the baby speaker up front. I would say it is most likely the latter that is your problem. Have your technician look into it. It should be a simple fix with a bit of dampening material put into place.
