Question Newbie with some mod questions

Hey Everyone! Just thought I'd say that I think this forum is awesome. I've been creepin around for a bit now, ever since I got my 99 RX300 about three months ago. All of you have inspired me to customize my RX. Anyways, I have two questions....

1) I searched the forums for posts on the tail lights with black housing but couldn't find what I was looking for. Does anyone have them? If so, could you please post pics? I have a black RX, and was wondering if the black housing matched exactly. Any opinions on these tail lights?

2. Where can I find a Weapon-R or SRT intake? I tried Weapon-R's website, but I believe it may not be working, unless I have the wrong site (www.weapon-r.com). What type of intake would you guys recommend?

Thanks for taking the time to read my post and hope to hear from you all soon!

-Pat

Vamp,

The only example of the black thaqt I could find is in the following threat:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...ght=taillights

Unfortunately, they are on a silver RX, but I think they would look much better with the black RX.

Of course you can find them at http://procarparts.com

As far as Weapon-R, you have the website correct, but you are right, it is not working! Wonder what's up?

I thought the Weapon-R intake was still undergoing the CARB approval process for the RX300, at least that is what they last told me.

Thanks for the reply Ederny! I think I'm gonna go out on a limb and get the black altezzas...when I get money that is. It's tough modifying a car when you're a student. Stupid high tuition! Anyways, when I get them I will be sure to let you guys know.

If you're interested I have a Weapon-R intake with the cold air box that I have taken off my RX. I went back to the stock intake...quieter.

LexRX,

Hmm....I may be interested. I want to do so much for my RX, but unfortunately b/c I'm a jobless student I have to take things one at a time. Thanks for the offer. I may take you up on it (who knows when, however).

Pat

PS. Just outta curiosity, how much would you sell it for?

I'll sell it for $125 which includes the shipping in the continental United States. It comes with all you need to install - the cone filter is a little dirty but I believe I can clean it, it's just some debris on the outside. It looks like a foam filter (a synthetic material) element behind a wire mesh so it shouldn't be a problem cleaning.
