Please elaborate few things.

Why were the o2 sensors changed? Were there any codes before.
After a bit of warm up, In Park or N, you can rev up the engine high [don't red line it, but go high up on RPM]
Can you rove the sfter through all position.
What is the transmission fluid level ... cold and at operating condition [10-15 mins of driving ... in Park engine idling].
Please connect an OBDII scanner for codes and do not rely on the CEL bub .. it might be out or you may have pending codes.

It had codes stored in the computer the ob2 read P0330, P1130, P1135, P1150, P1155. I changed the knock sensors, and all the 02 sensors. All the codes disappeared. Yes the shifter moves through all positions.

You didn't mention the knock sensors originally. Last month I changed my rear valve cover. When I finished it the transmission was hard shifting into gear so I knew I had forgotten to reconnect one of the grounds to the air plenum when I reinstalled it.

There should be two grounds connected to the passenger side end of the air plenum and another one connected to the back of it. On this picture: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...ml#post8241456 the ground I forgot is the one marked with a little red square, second red square from the left. Once I reconnected it the transmission was back to normal.

Maxsteel has identified the most likely reason.

Can you please count and report number of wires that are on the hidden ground screw that fixed your problem eventually.

The left side of the plenum has two ground connectors fastened to a nut, as seen in this picture: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...l#post11592243. At 6:00 position there are two wires in that harness but I think both go to the same connector. At 3:00 there is another wire and connector.

For the hidden ground there is a single connector that must be fastened, as was shown in the previous picture. One way to check it, reach through the space between the air intake and the throttle body to the rear of the valve cover. There is a big wire harness there running left to right. Follow the harness to the general vicinity of the ground wire behind the plenum and you will either find a ground wire leading up to the rear of the plenum or it will be hanging there loose. Picture of the space here https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...64&gid=1&pid=2

Had similar issue after I forgot to reconnect the ground on the back of the intake on my 2002 Highlander V6. I assume the RX300 has the same ground as it is the same engine and almost identical in terms of drivetrain
