Driver-Side Window Stuck Down – Guidance needed
The driver-side door lock and window panel have been acting up for years, but nothing was a major issue—until this morning when my driver-side window refused to roll up. In the past, I’ve managed to get it working by being gentle, trying different window switches, or just patiently praying before attempting again. But this time, the window seems determined to stay down.
I’ve already tried some YouTube tricks, like using tape to grip and pull the glass up, but no luck. If anyone has a suggestion to temporarily get the window up until I can implement a permanent fix, I’d really appreciate it.
For context, it’s a 2000 Lexus RX300 with about 200K miles on it. Thanks in advance for any advice!

Checked with my mechanic and he suggested buying a window regulator. Like below one, instead of relay. Any ideas on regulator vs relay for this issue?

But if you press the button and something happens, like the window jerks and stops, or you hear some grinding, then maybe it's mechanical
