Looking for an ECM out of a 1999 RX300 AWD with ignition keys. Also does anyone know if 2000 -2003 ECM will work in a 99? Can you reprogram an ECM to accept different keys? I really need some help with this one. Thanks

Doubtful if an ECU from a different year will work correctly. It will probably allow the engine to start and run, but not everything will be right.

There are a couple of ways to replace the ecu. You can get a refurb that is already flashed (lots of money), you can get a used ecu and swap out a small eeprom and reuse your keys (cheapest but requires soldering), or we can talk over PM, I can probably help to get you going without headache, and I only ask for the favor to be "paid forward" I currently have part number 89661-48062 which is one of the part numbers for 99.

I am not asking to go to PM to hide any selling activity.

Is your ecu bad, or did you lose all the keys?
