SCCA Target multi event
Just got this email:
Good Afternoon, Track Nighters!
We at the SCCA Lab (aka the Experiential Programs Department) have been busy cooking up our great thing- and we think we’ve got it. It’s called Targa and it is a 6-event, 3-day, 3-track motorsports adventure for you, a friend and a car.
We are going to pilot the concept in the Southeast, August 11-14 with elements of the event at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Atlanta Motorsports Park and NCM Motorsports Park in Bowling Green Kentucky. Over the three days teams will autocross, do a Track Night event (at Charlotte Motor Speedway), run a time trial, compete in a TrackCross and run a Road Rally through the North Georgia Mountains.
This event is very much in keeping with the tone and attitude of Track Night events, and will use a lot of the same policies and staff. We also wanted to give the Track Night community an inside line on the event and details. We will make a formal announcement tomorrow, but you can see what we up to now at https://www.scca.com/pages/scca-targa.
Take a look and let us know what you think.
Looking Forward,
