A quick upload of a small test I did with the RCF. I know it is not much to look at, but it just shows how the car accelerates in very unfavorable conditions. A 60 - 110 mph run with one of my first Dragy tests on the RCF. Very hot, dry and thin atmosphere. 1-mile high density altitude was 5600 feet. I also slammed into the rev limiter in 2nd gear. 50% fuel in the car.

Density altitude is now dropping to 3000 feet at night as days are hot, but then nights get cold these days so will be doing some new runs and hopefully, getting some of those results up.

Man, I am very impressed with my RCF. Only a couple of mods and it is putting down some serious numbers. Here is my first performance test video of a 60 - 130 mph run (96 - 210 km/h).This is far from a perfect run. Had a 50% fuel tank full, hit rev limiter from 2nd to 3rd, shifted 4th to 5th at 129 mph and the altitude is 3600 feet for this run, but still got a 12.4 seconds. I just need to tweak a few things and I could crack the 11s even at 3600 feet, I was at 11.8 seconds at 128 mph. If I get everything right, I could imagine getting really low-11s or high-10s at sea level DA.

My first performance test video. More to come. Will be publishing more 60 - 130 mph videos and 1/4 mile videos with 0-60 mph hopefully, before I store the car. Also, planning on doing 0 - 200 km/h runs as well.

With storage time rapidly approaching, I am pretty much done doing testing that I did over the course of 3 months. I am quite content with the results as the temperature dropped, the DA went down quite a bit so the time in 1/4 mile, 0-60 mph and 60 - 130 mph went down as well. The lowest I got was about 3300 - 3400 feet density altitude. I have a lot of footage to edit and upload for the Dragy runs. I will post the video clips up with the Dragy performance test data etc. over the next few weeks. I am basically done testing at least for this year. My goal was to make this my baseline for any future mods. I might re-do the tests once I put my next mod on (RR Racing Crankshaft damper/pulley?)

Question: Does anyone know if I need to do some early maintenance as I must have done about 25 total launches varying from 1000 rpm to 1500 rpm. I gave plenty of cool down time between each run and also RCF has transmission coolers to help with the cooling. The transmission works perfectly despite the hard launches, and nothing feels different, but just being cautious. Car just crossed 20,000 KM so quite a long way to go before my transmission service so wondering with the 25+ launches I did, I should do transmission services earlier? I won't be doing it again. I was not planning on doing hard launches, but morbid curiosity to see the best I could do, I got suckered into it. Unless it is to measure improvements due to a new mod, definitely won't be doing it. Anyone has ideas on this, please let me know as I am thinking I might do transmission fluid service next year spring after winter storage?

I doubt any extra attention on the maintenance is required due to the launches. It never went to limp mode or gave you overheating warning. Transmission cooler did it's job.

Just your regular service schedule will suffice with a 60k transmission fluid change.

Thanks man. Yeah, nothing out of ordinary. No warnings and Temps all were normal. The transmission cooler seemed to be doing its job and the outside temperature was the the colder side as well. The fact that it preloads the drivetrain, it did make me very uneasy. Anyway, I agree I will wait for when the scheduled transmission service is due.

Thanks for posting. That is awesome. I have a lot of run videos also I need to edit together both for 1/4 mile and 60-130 mph. Hopefully, should have them up soon. I am at 3600 feet DA and got similar results with similar mods. I think you have room to get into the 10s given your DA being so ideal and since I got similar numbers at 3300 - 3600 ft DA.

Cracking 11s in the 60 - 130 mph (96 - 210 km/h) at a challenging 3600+ feet density altitude

I would have been able to get into the 10s comfortably if I had been at sea level density altitude. Not bad for a mildly modded RCF. Anyway, this is the best I got so far in the 60 - 130 mph before I stored the car for the winter.

Mods:

Invidia Full Q300 catback exhaust
RR Racing ECU Software tune
AFE Power Stage 2 Cold Air Intake
Full weight at 35% fuel and using Octane 94
SPORT+/MANUAL modes
60 - 130 mph (or any rolling start) in AUTO mode is a BAD idea. That is what the data told me. I will leave it at that.

Tried out the new Dragy today... 2021, cat back exhaust, DA 398 feet, rear tires at 32psi cold but around 34psi during the runs. Cant remember but it was probably in 'Launch' mode. Launch mode is very particular, if the steps aren't followed exactly you'll absolutely fry the tires.

Best 0-60: 4.92
Best 0-60 w/ 1 ft rollout: 4.65
Best 60 ft: 2.29
Best 1/8 mile: 8.58@ 89mph

Those were all on the same run. Very, very traction limited. DA's going to be good tomorrow between 7a and 9a...more runs planned.

Nice first try. You can definitely get it down especially the 60 foot. That would automatically reduce your 1/8th and 1/4th mile by a factor of 2 (one tenth shaved off in 60 foot means about 2/10ths shaved off in 1.4 mile) Update the thread once you have more runs.

You are on a slight incline so it could be a bit quicker if you found a more level road. Like I said above, your 60 foot going down below 2.10 seconds will make a big difference in the 1/8th mile and 1/4 mile.

Did some 60-0 in 122ft +/-. Multiple runs but not back to back. Did a 120-0 but my Dragy wasnt setup to record it.
