RCF put down
I guess, haters gonna hate? When I wrote my review of the IS500, I tried to be as unbiased as possible. I said, both cars are great in their own ways. The reality is, I drove the IS500. It feels way softer and more comfort oriented than the RCF. RCF has a lot of hardware that is oriented towards the track and the raw handling numbers are a pretty good indicator. Big brakes, suspension, cooling etc.
Despite all of the extra rigidity and beefed up components, the weight difference is like 30 - 40 lbs. RCF deserves props for being a great balance between track oriented driving experience and street drivability. The F badge and the extra cost is not just a label. There is no other Lexus car other than LFA that did close to 0.98g on the skidpad like the RCF.

To be fair, that’s from the forum for is500 owners who are justifiably proud of their cars. You want lfa owners popping in here to put down the rcf?
Let’s keep things friendly between members and not foster cross model arguments please.
