Sorry guys! New to this YouTube video posting thing. Finally figured how to integrate the Dyno numbers on video. Here you go! Cheers!

I love the sound, not too harsh or offensive. Any real drone from the long system? Did you have a CEL before using the o2 extenders? Also, I just realized ARH charges essentially 1100 dollars for their axle back! 2895 sans mufflers, 3995 with...

So, you went from 412 whp to 430 whp? Pretty good delta there of about 18 whp. Those numbers are higher than typical (stock RCFs generally dyno around 400 whp) because they are using a hub dyno, which eliminates the loss through the wheels/tires.

No drone at all. Remember I have resonators on. In the car, the sound is beautiful since literally the collectors are right underneath you. The stock induction noise is now moot. The headers makes child's play of the induction noise and it purrs like the naturally aspirated amg 6.3 liter engine of old. Gas mileage has improved, I have gained 0.7 mpg so far and it seems to be improving as I chalk up the miles.

CEL did come on, o2 extenders took care of the problem.

Yes the delta was 18.49 WHP and 8.45 WTQ

There are a lot of arguments about drum vs hub results but what is undoubtedly true with hub dyno you get consistency and repeatability. Drum dynos are too gnarly for me, not ready to see my RCF flying off one of them dynos.

Interestingly enough Sikky did a dyno run with a hub dyno, baseline before headers install was 405 whp and 366 wtq and this was an RCF with an aftermarket catback exhaust most likely without cats and resonators as it was pretty loud. You can check it out on YouTube.

Next stop from here is an axleback then a tune and more dyno numbers

That's awesome news. I have been looking for something with no rasp, no drone, but the rumble of performance and the HP gain. Looks like this will be the route I'll go then. I'm thinking either modify the stock axle back to match the OD of the ARH pipes, and change the tips, or just a custom build. Keep us updated as you go.

Just something very interesting to add here, peak Torque gain was 8.45 at 383.38Ibft but and this is really big to note, maximum torque gains at 3000 rpm to 3600 rpm is +20 and again at 6000 rpm maximum torque gain +20.

This you definitely feel at the road and its a head rush for certain. Car launches really fast at mid-range, more area under the curve in this streetable power band, then puts the cherry on the cake at 6000 rpm with what's by now an audible screaming acceleration.

Notice in stock-form from 2800 rpm, torque actually drops remains flat then climbs rapidly back up at 3600 rpm. This I believe is what a lot of RCF owners experience with that lag in the midrange. With the ARH long system from 2800 rpm it maintains that fat +20 gain through to the 3600rpm mark and then ramps up yielding a much smoother transition.

Cheers!

Yeah, that is what you notice most with majority of the RCF mods. They give the most gains in the mid-range to the low end of the rpm (below 6000 rpm). Looks like the peak powerband/airflow is so well optimized that the gains between 6500+ rpm are always less than what they are in the midrange.

Just got my vftuner in the mail today too. I have a dyno tune schedule for the 17th. I look forward to seeing your numbers after the delicious tune!

Sweet! I'm going dyno mine on the 13th. Do you have headers installed on your car?

No headers yet. Just intake and exhaust. Im thinking about buying some this month through meraki. Would be awesome for us to get some real results to share on this forum between our two different setups though.

I was just reviewing your post topic on Baseline dyno, cool stuff.

Your dyno guy is also going to dyno-tune your car?

I was just planning to run numbers but intend to ask my guy if he is able to dyno tune to further dial it in.

Thanks! Yup, my dyno guy will be doing the tuning. he has some experience with the software tuning Tundras, but i’ll save my stock lexus tune just in case. I think Delicious may have their tune locked so your guy may not be able to alter their tune. Hopefully thats not the case though and you can make all the powah!
