RCF or ZL1?
Not to compare the two vehicles, but I’m thrilled with my decision. As purely a garage queen, the ZL1 emotionally just felt right. It is so raw and the exhaust note is intoxicating. When the supercharger gets going, it’s a wild ride.
I was concerned about the interior quality but was pleasantly surprised. The leather/suede seats are very comfortable and there hasn’t been one squeak or rattle to be heard. The Magnetic Ride Control is more compliant and smooth than my Acura RLX Sport Hybrid.
I did a ton of research before making my decision and I appreciate everyone’s help on this forum. The RC-F is an outstanding vehicle and just may be in my garage one day to replace my Acura, but the ZL1 was just what I wanted/needed at this point in time. Here are a few pics - it’s one of 226 in Crystal Red Tintcoat.

You can’t go wrong with either vehicle - both offer some great things. In the end for me, I wanted a more raw than luxurious experience for my garage queen and it ultimately came down to just that. The intoxicating sounds and exhilarating acceleration we’re just too good in the ZL1 to pass up. I drive a luxury sedan as my daily so I was looking for something a little more angry and wild than the RCF if that makes any sense. For me personally, I like the retro old school look of the 5th gen to the new body style, but hey, to each his own right?....
My drawback and another reason why I dont have another is I have 2 young boys and they cannot fit into the back seats unless i practically have the steering wheel in my chest.
But if you don't have kids.... what a great do everything car it is.

I’m really enjoying my ZL1. So fast and loud and raw. Exactly what I was looking for. The magnetic ride is amazing and so smooth and composed if you want it to be. Drives smoother than my Acura RLX Sport Hybrid luxury sedan. Go figure.
I still look at RCF’s and might get one some day, but for now I haven’t looked back on my purchase at all!
