CPO Pricing
Hey all,
I found a CPO 2019 RCF, fully loaded with 8K miles for $68k. The problem is it's about 800 miles away from me, but that is not the issue.
The price seems high to me based on what other people are paying for 2017s. I understand it's a 2019 so I can expect to pay more, but what would you guys say the car is worth?

Define fully loaded.......first. Everyone's interpretation is different. I would firmly belive a 2019 would be more than a 2017. 8,000 miles on a 2019. racked up some miles pretty quick in my book!! But hey, its still $12K less than base MSRP......$15-$18K less than a carbon, TVD packaged car.....MSRP...not discounted....

Fully loaded as in its got the premium package, performance package, and ML/navi. MSRP is $80,000

68K is exactly a 15% discount off an 80K MSRP. Normally, I think that would be fair.
But, what kind of out-the-door prices are people getting on new 2020s right now? If those are going for 12k off MSRP then that price on a slightly used 2019 seems too high.

Sounds okay, let's not forget that new 2015 RC-Fs were at one point going down to 60-63k which is $15-$18k off MSRP. Supply isn't as great but I doubt demand has gotten any higher. That seems like a fair discount on new, but not a pre-owned with miles. I bought my 2015 CPO when 2016s were barely out and it was low $50k back then fully loaded as well minus radar cruise.
Love the car but for non-track edition, regardless of upgraded screen or not I've been convinced 40-50k is where it's absolutely great value. Value is all on you, but at $45-50k and you're willing to spend high 60k you got yourself a nicely modified RC-F.

That's a great point, I never even thought about it that way. Sales on these aren't the best, which should make incentives much better. I wonder if I should inquire with a dealership just to see what kind of incentives are being offered on a 2020 (for statistical purposes only)

These rebates help, but I believe 15/16s were heavily discounted because of dealer cash in addition to all that and we haven't seen them around for a while, again unfortunately because the 15/16s had much more supply that couldn't move.
