Default Pulled the trigger - My 2015 RC-F

I finally decided to pull the trigger on a 2015 RC-F. I had been browsing for a Molten Pearl with Performance Pack & ML audio for quite some time. This one showed up at my local Lexus dealership and checked all the boxes. It is fully loaded with only 7k miles and L certified. I was hesitant if the time to buy was right as it's a third vehicle and I wasn't sure if I was ready to sell my Viper, but the chance of finding another example this clean local to me would be slim to none.

I have only put roughly 50 miles on it since picking it up yesterday and so far its everything I expected and more. Drives fantastic and pulls strong. I was surprised how sharp and flat it cornered for being such a porker I look forward to getting to know the car better and having some fun with it.

Welcome to the club. Looks like got a very good one as it has very low mileage. That looks like a carbon copy of my car. Glad you really like it. Not sure if you have tried the different modes, but TVD is a lot of fun. First mod I would recommend would be a full exhaust and it would really open that V8 up. The tires on RCF are softer touring version of MPSS tires (not the M4 version) so XL version of '20 RCF MPS4S tires with reinforced sidewalls and broader shoulders is another good change to make it more fun to drive

Gorgeous and great find! Definitely need to jump those very low mileage mint examples when they come up. The Molten Pearl is really starting to grow on me.

The real depth is only apparent when you see it in sunlight where the silver pearl flakes add a lot of depth. I was hesitant before buying in this color, but I would not have it any other way now.

I've owned an IS-F before, and test drove an RC-F a while back, so I knew what to expect.

But I drive a ton of exotics and various cars for work. Lots of P cars, Macs, AMG's etc..... The RC-F seemed like the perfect blend of performance/reliability and is comfortable enough for a road trip. I would steer away from many other cars due to maintenance cost alone. Plus, within my budget ( <$50K) I think the Molten Pearl RC-F looks as good as anything out there.

Yea, I appreciate the help! You pretty much did all the negotiations for me, which made it pretty much stress free.

The RC-F is better in almost every way except for pure power/speed. The Viper has a ton of torque (roughly 200lb/ft tq & 100hp more than the RC-F) and weighs 400lbs less. So this is no surprise that it feels and is faster.

That being said, my street racing days are pretty much behind me So I think I will enjoy the Lexus more. The Viper is just a lot of work to drive. I've owned it five years and it has got to the point that it just sits and does not get driven. I feel like the Lexus can be used in so many more ways and still has enough power to be plenty of fun or surprise passengers. I also plan on AutoCrossing the RC-F which I look forward to seeing how it handles. Obviously all the tech in the RC-F is nice as well, I just need to get used to the infotainment system. The ML audio sounds amazing so far.

The RC-F is really the complete package. It checks all the boxes and I would really be nit picking if I tried to find it's faults.

Congrats. That's a nice find. Since you mentioned road trip, be aware that it doesn't have a spare tire.
