Wow I thought I was the only one that likes the triple beams from 2015-19. It seems like the crowd that doesn't really like the RCF to begin with; like the 2020 headlights. They always complain about the headlights on YT. To me that was one of the reasons I fell in love with the car. I almost bought a HID 2015 before I realized that the triple beams weren't standard...I dropped out of negotiations pretty fast. I was wondering why it was priced lower than a slightly higher mileage one at the same dealership . I ended up waiting a bit to find the one I wanted.

Little off topic - what white Supra is that in your sig? It has a '97+ front end on it, but your sig says 1993.5 (which would be the Premier Edition, like the one I have, also a hardtop Getrag unit).

That's awesome! I LOVE hardtops over targa any day of the week. It was hard to find a white on black LHD hardtop, but patience is key (the white one in the pic is mine). I changed the front bumper about 2 weeks into owning it. I wired up all the lights to work like the 97+ as well (because it is a completely different wiring harness). Are you on Supraforums?

I have the triple beans on my "new to me" RCF... however it seems that they point very low when driving at night when I switch to high beam it seems quite normal... but regular lights are quite low. Anyone else notice this? Maybe mine are just out of alignment?

Mine are perfect - Likely yours need to be adjusted. I would assume that adjustment is easy - but I've never looked into it since my lights are great. hopefully it's not something that requires dealer adjustment. Even so, it may be worthwhile to ask the dealer to adjust them to make sure they are on spec. Lexus should do this for no charge...

Possibly. It's not that they are low, but rather "defined". There is a sharp delineation between the light and dark in these for me as compared to halogen that would blend into the dark losing light slowly as you look higher. You can certainly get them checked, just relating that I too found them to be different from prior cars I had owned. Yes, the high beam makes it daytime these things are so bright.
