Is it just me, or is the video not showing? I thought the forum software was supposed to automatically embed links?

That's a possibility I hadn't considered. The roads might have been damp.
I run all seasons so wet or dry doesn't matter much. I can and do mash the pedal at 50 mph on the highway in the rain and the tires don't even chirp (not that you'd hear it in the rain anyway).
But note the speeds. This run was up to about 135 mph. At higher speeds I have walked bikes that would leave me in the dust off of the line. Still, I don't know if this was full throttle or not.

Definitely sounds bone stock. My exhaust RCF is much louder than that. Also, not sure if it would have made a significant difference, but he seems to be shifting well below the redline/rev limiter

Based on the little I can see of that bike, its definitely a Suzuki Tail Section up top. Perhaps an older model Hayabusa , which for decades was the fastest sportbike off a showroom floor (1300cc) but that lower fairing shows signs of the Katana - which was the most horrible sportbike from Suzuki, and a total waste of money!
Putting any car up against a TRUE Sportbike is really not a fair fight. As stated, bikes will smoke just about any car off the line (never raced against a GTR or RS3) But the Ducati VTwin always produced much more torque down low than regular Inline Engines. It's actually never a fair comparison to either party no matter how ya cut it - yet fun to watch regardless! The fastest I ever went on 2 wheels is 173mph, and it actually had more to go!

My sport/cruiser motorcycle can go 0-60 in about 2.5 seconds, and you have to limit initial acceleration so that the front wheel does lift up too high. Tops speed is limited to 155mph, because the computer cuts off 2 of the 4 cylinders at 155, and cuts off all 4 cylinders at 160mph.
Even at 68 years,a motorcycle is my preferred way to get around, except for extreme weather, or high traffic situations. RCF is great to have since it has a trunk and air conditioning!

Super bikes to our cars is like apples to oranges anyway. Put a superbike up against a true supercar, such as a Veyron. The car will win. But it's much cheaper to get your hands on a superbike vs a supercar.
The same is true in top fuel racing. The best drag cars beat the best drag bikes. Bigger tires mean more contact patch for traction.
Bikes have a weight advantage. But suffer in aerodynamics. Their weight advantage gets outclassed by air resistance at high speeds.
Nonetheless, I still like comparisons. Even when they aren't exactly fair.

I raced my old R1 against my buddies GTR way back. He'd always get the jump off the line, but after about 3 seconds it was no contest. The only time he really ever had me was when I topped out on the freeway and he still had the hp to keep it going.

my bike will do 0-60 in 2.5 sec. 0-120mph in 7sec, Trust me you stand no chance. I raced an R8 audi on a 70hp supermoto and he had no chance from a rolling start to about 100ish mph. A modern sport bike has 180+ hp. Even with double the power you wouldnt stand a chance so dont bother.
Funny story: 959 panigale(the slower one) pulled up next to me and told me to go. I jumped him... just when i though I had him i flew by doing 30-40mph more. Dont bother comparing a sport bike with a sports car.
Sport bike vs hypercar maybe but the veyron couldnt take the bmw S1000RR and there are a few videos on youtube proving that

Top speed bike = 376 mph
Top speed car = 763 mph
Bikes can't come close... just because you have ruled on the street with a bike doesn't mean it can't be beat.
BTW, I used to ride...
