Borla Exhaust Video
Here a clip of my RCF with Borla exhaust recently installed. I had the issue with the CEL because of the gaskets at the header, replaced with new and haven't had an issue since.
The sound in the video doesn't do it justice.

Thanks man i love it. I drive it pretty hard too i usully always drive in manual mode. I can get it to pop too but nothing crazy like a c63.
i was thinking of cutting off the small resonators to make it louder too lol. But i think im gonna go with headers at some point.

i was originally going to go with invidia because i’ve always ran them on all the cars i’ve had. However it wasn’t loud enough for my taste. I wanted the meistershaft but the price is a complete rip off imo. I also live in canada where we don’t get cheap car parts like in the usa. We get screwed because our currency is garbage

good job with the video, yup that's how it sounds lol. It's loud at a distance, you know so the cops can go ahead and warm up the cruiser. Works well for passing on the freeway though, they move over 9 times out of 10 with a downshift.

I wrote Borla to ask this question. The reply was:
We terminated our racing parts program, and the vehicle in question was part of that program. My apologies.

I wish I had the extra money to get a GTHAUS...
I was dead-set on a Borla and was saving up some money (disabled so it takes me a bit lol) and was really bummed that they discontinued it. I've been listening to clips of Ark and Invidia. It seems like the Ark is quieter and the consensus is that it pretty much needs headers for it to sound loud enough. I like how the Invidia looks and people seem to be generally happy with it but I think it's on the quieter side as well?
The Apexi sounds kind of ricer-ish from the videos...I had a 2015 GS350 F-Sport prior to the RCF and I had a Tanabe exhaust on it. It seems like it sounded similar? I wasn't too big a fan of the Tanabe.
I wish Armytrix and GTHAUS was closer to $2500-3000 then I'd for sure go with one of those. The $4-5k mark is a little rich for me.
I guess that gives a little idea on what I'm looking for sound-wise and my price range $1200 (Invidia) to $2000ish. I know my shipping is gonna hurt...I'm in Hawaii.
