2015 to 2020 rcf face lift conversion
I kind of dig the front and rear lights or the 2020 rcf, I Don’t know if it’s possible to tell from pics but if I wanted to do a facelift on my 2015 rcf do you guys think it will be a matter of swapping the tail and head lights or will the front and rear bumper need to be changed as well? And if indeed the front bumper needs to be changed, then do you think my lip ( varis) will fit on a 2020 bumper

You'll no doubt need to change it all, front grill, front bumper, headlights. Rear you will need new tails and new bumper.
Definitely not going to be cheap. I could only imagine what headlights will run alone, but def interested as well.

Probably cheaper to just trade in and get one. Imagine the lighting harness alone would not work as plug and play

All those modifications will add up. PLUS you cant get any of the ECU tuning they did, so best option is to trade in your RCF and get the 2020

I care more about keeping the car aesthetically pleasing. It is fast enough. Hoping for around 7500-10k I can upgrade the lights and bumpers and side mirrors.

I am also very interested in a conversion kit , am pretty sure the bumpers have to be changed to and any old lips or diffuser would not fit anymore. I wonder if the ECU will accept new head and tail lights .. It probably won't.
The lights can be tested from 2019 models but the bumpers probably won't be on sale for another 8 months.

I think you are under estimating this. The are around all of the lights are different. Just trade in the car. and get a 2020 . RCFs went for msrp for like 3 months then heavy discounts were available .

Also the car here is much much more expensive and the gap between used and new is massive . a new car fully loaded RCF was for around 135000 USD while the used ones go for half that or even less ( price differences is due to taxes we have to pay on cars and specially when they are V8 or more) , So .. yeah , I will have to consider conversion instead of trade in

This means I can tell girls at the bar I have a $135,000 car if I add the "in some markets" disclaimer...
Anyway, converting is likely possible since the chassis is the same, but I doubt the payoff would be worth the effort. Especially since our front end doesn't really look dated or anything, imo. Our taillights kinda do with those old filament bulbs in the turn signals, though. But like others have said, it probably would be the entire clip including hood/trunk and fenders. Basically, you'd be keeping the doors and roof.

I dont live in the united states ,I live in Spain , Trade in is not as easy as it is in the united states as in the rest of the world , I highly doubt lexus are going to bring any RCF again where I live , as they had a very hard time selling 30 cars that they got since 2015.

Agree with you 100% , I would start with the rear and go to the front , I might actually keep the gen1 front and upgrade to gen 2 rear ( if possible) might look even better ! Where I am there are hardly any RC in the road .. Dont think anyone gonna know wtf is goin on
