LOVE it!! I did find that it really decreases the range of the key though. Was trying to lock my car that was right outside of the restaurant and signal wouldnt reach. Its worth it though! haha

It does! But I usually lock and an unlock car at the handle. I like not having to reach into my pocket so not much of an issue for me. But is a pain when I'm not sure if I locked and have to start walking closer to the car.
How's the aim of the door lights? Are they distorted due to the angle of the light on the door?

Question: is the Lexus emblem cover a sticker, like a vinyl sticker? I know the ebay page says "Real Carbon Fiber" but how real can it be for $15? I like the look of it but the CF pattern seems quite different than the trim cover piece, or possibly it is just accentuated in the pic you posted, not sure.

I put them in my maserati, bmw and mercedes! The lights for all those cars plus the lexus cost less than $100

I dont believe the "real" part, but for $15 who cares haha. It's just a vinyl with 3M tape on the back.
I'm resurrecting this old thread to ask a question about the carbon fiber key case. There are several different styles of this product. For example, there is real carbon fiber (the one the OP bought) and then glass fiber (comes in other colors like red and black/silver). Then, there are cases with vents and cases without vents (again like the one the OP bought). I really like the look of real black carbon fiber but with no lines. However, I've been told that real carbon fiber blocks the signal, and that the vents help improve the key's signal (operable up to 3-4 meters). On the other hand, glass fiber doesn't block the signal at all....but it's not real carbon! I've diagramed my research:

My questions:
1) Does anybody have first-hand experience between the signal difference between these real carbon fiber cases with vents vs. without vents?
2) What is "glass fiber?" The seller says its the same lightweight as carbon fiber, but is it as strong? It sounds like fiberglass and that makes me think it could break.
3) Which would you get?
