Default GT Haus or Armytrix Exhaust

HELLO CL:

I am currently shopping around for an exhaust to put on my stock RCF and pretty much narrowed it down to two which I think sound the best: the Armytrix and the GT Haus. Correct me if I'm wrong, but is the GT Haus for $4k only the muffler? Because thats what it seems like in the description and photos online. Compared to the Armytrix which is a full header back, it seems that the Armytrix is a much better deal. I honestly cant decide on which exhaust to go with, so any input regarding these two or any other would be greatly appreciated. I never heard any aftermarket exhaust on the RCF in person so I dont have a clue what sounds good.

You are correct about the GTHAUS, the midpipe is another $2k.

We can work you a great deal on either system, especially Armytrix at the moment!

Sound wise, I would go with Armytrix. It has a more "exotic" like sound. It gets progressively higher pitched as the revs climb.

Ask people for a ride in their modded RCF to get a better idea of which exhaust you would prefer. You don't want to put so much money and not be happy.

Sounds like it's time to travel to places like SoCal to one of the car and coffee meets.

Right, that would be fun. I do like being up in NH with the only one around I know of though, I drove to PA to buy it. No dealerships in my state had any.

Does anyone know if there will be a "check engine" alert or any other issues after the installation of the Armytrix. Just want to make sure it will be a simple bolt on without any tune or reprogramming requirements.

thanks,

thanks,
No issues at all for the Armytrix exhaust, and no check engine light. The RCF accepted the exhaust with no problems. When you hear it fire up and open that valve, it's just epic!!! You won't regret it!

PM me and I'll see if I can get my guy to hook you up on the purchase. Get you a discount on the exhaust if I can mate. Cheers!!
