My throttle controller for the second time caused my check engine, pcs and brake system failure light come on and threw a code about the throttle pedal

and this time the apex button would not stop flashing. even if i pressed a button on it it wouldn't do anything.

After having used mine for a while and having had some issues with it, I can say A) it's built like a tank and B) if there's a problem it's likely user error, either programming it incorrectly or installing it incorrectly.

I was seriously thinking about get it. Now NOT!!

Had mine on my GS for over a year with no problems. Gonna take it off and put it on my RC-F tomorrow.

 

Have had it on my GS for almost a year with no issues whatsoever. Several people on the forum and haven't had any issues. Maybe you (and the one other person experiencing problems) received a bad one?

 

I have used the Apexi throttle controller in my last 2 cars, and just installed it in my GSF recently. Never had any issues

I have had the same problem after my install, but i cannot pinpoint if it's the Apexi Throttle controller because it throw the check engine light even when I'm not using it. I constantly have to reset the light. I will take it off to see if it still comes on.

 

What lights pops up for you? Have you ever been in an accident? Don't worry it's just us.

 

I had the same issue, Brake override system failure waring light came on. Pulled the code and to was the throttle pedal circuit or something. It went away as soon as I removed the Throttle controller from the equation. Drove the car for a few days without the controller hooked up and error never came back. Re hooked up the throttle controller, and have not had any issues again.

 

Currently dealing with all these lights and check engine codes , did you ever resolve this ? I’m getting engine code p0015

 

I have had AFE Power SprintBooster v3. Works like a charm every time. It is better engineered. Never had any issues and no calibration required. Amazing little modification.
