I have been searching the forum on how to install a radar detector. Several of the posts have snapshots of wiring diagrams from what appears to be an RCF service manual. Where would I purchase a service manual?

Not available for purchase unless you want to pay to have one printed. $15 for a two day subscription is the cheapest option. $1k a year includes Techstream if you have a Mongoose OBDII cable and gives you access to software updates as well (not navigation software, engine/ECU software). All subscriptions include access to Toyota Technical Training documentation, so you can learn about how Toyota/Lexus builds their cars as well as find the necessary information to service Toyota and Lexus vehicles.

Unlike the German makes, you can purchase a subscription and get access to anything and everything you want. There is no "per document" fee.

Has anyone done this? I cant believe there isnt a service manual floating around for RC or RCF's yet.

Where are you trying to wire the radar? Best way is getting RJ11 mirror tap from Amazon. Remove the plastic trim mounted on the windshield behind the rear view mirror and wire the tiny fuse wires in there and put some electric tape. Tuck the wires under the headliner. Very simple process. If the radar does not power on, relocate the wires. Plenty of YouTube videos on this too. BTW, watch vortex radar for his radar videos!

I have quite a bit of info on the Uniden R3 - which I am going to do the Mirror Tap on myself.
There are several Threads in here on doing this with numerous brands. The "Search Engine" is your friend.
