Engine bay molding plastic fasteners/clip removal

Flat head screwdriver or plastic body panel remover into either recessed area. If you damage the grommet can purchase new ones.

I would cover the engine bay with a shop towel to prevent any of those clips from flying down into the bay. I had that issue and had to hunt down a clip. A flat head screw driver will do to remove them.

Clip tools work better and avoid the whole flying clip problem. The IS F has way more clips under the hood, and it seems nearly everything on the car is clipped with some kind of push pin.
I bought bags of clips as well since they tend to break very easily. There are lots of alternate sources for clips.
