Ttv6 rc-f
Was thinking about this the other day but if the next powerplant for the next RC-F becomes a TTV6 with slighty more horsepower than the current V8 would you want to upgrade to the new engine or would you want to stick with the current V8?

I'd have to test drive first. I've had LS460 Sports before so maybe driving the LS500 would give me an idea of what the additional torque feels like.

Next RC-F? We're still waiting on the next IS-F. Lexus hasn't shown us that they're "generational" or consistent with their F lineup. But to answer your question, it's more than likely gonna be a TT V6. I don't have an issue with it, it'll be lighter making the car more balanced and as already stated it'll have better fuel economy (not that many of us care) and definitely more torque. Hopefully it has a nice exhaust note outta the box. I mean, c'mon the LFA sounded like pure sex, even the LC sounds like GOLD and its based on the same power plant. They dropped the ball with that one on the RC-F...

I would venture to guess that we will not see a TT V6 in the RC F - The V-8 is a solid foundation that is not easily modified. Turbos are easily modified which can lead to disaster. Lexus stakes it reputation on reliability and they do not want it tarnished. The LC F which will have the TT V8 will be a price point where the typical owner will not be modifying the vehicle. How many people modify a AMG SL?

550HP RC-F?
The twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 also will find its way into the GS F—making 550 horsepower—
