Default Polish the wheels

My wheels are the hand polished 19's and one of them has some curb rash from the previous owner. Can I just sand it down and Polish it back shiny again with Mother's metal Polish?

I believe our wheel has a clear coat coating. Metal Polish is for uncoated metal. I think you will have to sand it down then polish and clear coat.

Yeah it does, but just wanted to make sure that the alloy could be hand polished again....I don't see why not, but it never hurts to ask. Thank you for the response.

That clear coating isn't actual clear coat like the coating you have on your paint. The clear coat in those wheels are more of a ceramic coating. Its nice and thick too. You could sand that down, but after that, your wheels will always have to be polished out since it would be raw metal showing. It won't be easy to keep clean as they are now.
