Default Transmission Fluid

This car is designed for one purpose. Drive it like you stole it. I know Lexus says transmission is sealed, fluid is lifetime or life of the car. I think for a car under normal driving conditions, that should be fine. Well, the abuse you should put this car through, I would be really worried never flushing or replacing this fluid.

What does everyone else plan on doing? Flushing the fluid every 30K, 60K?

This reminds me of the huge discussion in the 3GS forum about this issue. The 3GS also has the sealed and "lifetime" transmission fluid. One forum member even got scientific data over this and concluded that the "lifetime" transmission fluid lost lubricity compared to a new transmission fluid. I'm from the RC 350 group and still have my 3GS but I thought this would help.

My last car, 370z, also had a sealed auto tranny. I took it to the dealer and its possible to change the fluid, it just required a tool to measure the oil volume after kept overnight to cool down.
The tech said the tranny oil is definitely dirty with odor.
Did the car perform better after the change? Not really. The shifts were smoother prechange.
