Yes, caught in the rain may end upside-down.
15"s are not necessary, these RCF's cant make that much power, now if somehow someone figures out how to crack 700whp to these cars then that's a different story lol
plus to fit 15"s you need to convert to smaller brakes on the rear to fit the 15" wheel.

I'd recomend M/T ET ST S/S in P285/35R19 (part no:3492) for the rear OEM wheels. What tire did the OP choose?

Possibly looking at doing the Mickey Thompsons 3480
305/35-18 on 18*10 XXR 1 piece forged wheels for rear. All calculations tell me that everything should fit seemlessly. Should know within next 10 days. At this point I am not hooking at all and at most pulling 0.5G's at launch due to tire spin and then I am peddling almost every shift whether I'm running 1/8 or a 1/4. I am supercharged with RR-racing along with PPE headers and full Borla exhaust.

I've used the MT and the Nitto on my Hellcat and the Nitto Nt05r are superior. As for the NT05, they are not better than the MPSS. NT05R are totally different compound than the NT05. Just keep in mind that the NT05R only last about 800-1400 miles normal driving. They aren't to be driven on all the time due to lasting very short period. Made that mistake my first set. Never drove it in rain but I would not do it. No issues with damp road or wet areas but not advisable in rain. The tires are like butter and peel off like taffy, literally. 300 bucks each is a typically rate but completely worth it if you wanna hook. You won't have a single issue with traction.

Which MT's did you run when comparing the 05R's? I run the nitto05R's on my 1500whp gtr on street map and have zero complaints but a lot swear by the MT ET Street S/S. The only reason that I was looking at the MT for the rcf is due to the fact that the closest match that I believe that I can fit of nitto is 285-40-18 but I do believe that I can fit a MT 305-35-18 as well which is a size that the nittos do not come in. Thats putting down a fair amount more of rubber than the 285. Your thoughts from personal experiences?
