18% on a forum that consists of lexus enthusiasts IS pretty high. if this were happening on another forum...folks would be claiming about how shoddy the reliability of Brand X is.

But it's the internet, seems like a lot of people like to bash this brand a lot more then others, never had this issue with other brands, I am sure you voted Yes on the pump issues Rick

I had no idea how automobile manufacturers work but I would agree with this statement. I worked in R/D department before. Once a new significant product (even an add on option) is released, if some issues pop up, one can bet that everyone will be paying attention and working for a solution. I would imagine Lexus would be doing the same thing.

For what its worth my issue started at around 3k miles. When I went on a road trip and used the eco setting for the first time. After switching back to my normal Sport+ mode the noise went away.

6900 miles, no noise. Hope never!
Car runs like a beast in S modes
Just a very small lag in 2nd gear in normal mode.
Use chevron or Costco gas.

Took the RCF in with fuel pump issue at around 8K miles. Lexus replaced it with a new unit. Now, it is making the same sound again at 11K. Scheduled for appointment for this upcoming Monday. Lets see what Lexus finds out. Will update. Starting to feel like I've purchased a BMW.

21,000 miles. No issues and no ECU flash. Just luck of the draw I suppose. My RC F was manufactured in Japan, if that makes a difference. Just wondering if the issues can be traced back to factory of origin...

Edit: I noticed people putting in the last 4 of their VIN. For what it's worth mine is 1520.
