You have to hold the homelink button the same way you do on the remote. That way it allows it to be variable. I really do wish there was some sort of visual as you dont really know when valves are completely open or completely closed...
How much of your car did you have wrapped? My installer uses Suntek, which I am very happy with. I have the full front clip done + the lower rocker panels back to the rear wheels. I thought about doing the roof too after I saw what it costs in the parts catalog. $13K!! They got my car done in a day and it came out fantastic. Will have to take it back once the CF mirror covers are on to have those done.
I had the full front, the front grill trim included, A-pillars, rocker panels, mirrors, bottom half of rear quarter panels and the rear bumper, window trims. I thought about the roof also so I might have that done later.
Its pretty simple. You just follow the instructions in the owners manual for programming a non-rolling code garage/gate opener.
1) push and release homelink button you want to program (II or III) as long as they aren't already being used. orange dot over that button will blink.
2) Hold the exhaust remote an inch or 2 from the mirror and hold down the Open button on that remote until flashing orange dot turns green (I think, validate w/manual)
3) repeat steps 1 and 2 for the Close button on the exhaust remote on a different homelink button
4) Done and test. I turned the ignition to accessory, opened the driver door and listened for the valves to open and close by pressing the homelink buttons.

DONE! I actually figured it out before I read this lol. It's so much nicer to be able to use the homelink buttons instead of the wireless remote.
Does Anyone know if someone done a quantitative test for exhaust sound change? Like a standard distance away from the car at X? Height and stock exhaust it reads Y decibels vs. at the same height and distance with the GT exhaust on valves open and closed?
I am thinking of this exhaust but want to know what it sounds like closed and how loud it is. I wake up early in the morning to drive to work and I don't want my neighbors hating me too much. lol

Cold start is always loud, whether it's open or closed. Closed isn't terribly loud at low speeds (neighborhood speed) so it should be fine.
So last week I finally received and installed my GT Haus Meisterschaft GTC SS (phew) exhaust system and programmed my home link with the remote to open and close the valves from the buttons on the mirror. I only did the axle-back for now as I was worried about the full system being TOO loud. I have to say this exhaust sounds freaking AMAZING omg. Other than the first day, just to test out the sound difference between open/closed, I have had the valves open 100% of the time lol. There is no drone at all with this system, and it sounds so throaty and aggressive it makes me smile every time I start the car up.
Keep in mind again, this is just the axle back, but now I am seriously considering getting the LSR catback as well. Also, big shout out to Lextech in Miami who did the entire install for me, and all the other work on my vehicle. Here are some pictures:

Would you mind uploading some sound clips of the exhaust with the valves open and closed? I mentioned earlier I am hesitant to purchase just because I've been scared to be too loud as well. How would you rate the interior noise with just the axle back compared to stock exhaust?

I'll try to get some sound clips up in the coming days. Compared to stock with the valves closed and windows up it sounds exactly the same to me, with the valves open you can definitely hear it but it doesn't drone and doesn't sound loud enough to be obnoxious. It sounds aggressive yet refined, if that makes any sense lol. I would imaging it will be much louder with the LSR catback.

You did just the axle back and you say it sounds the same as stock when the valves are closed. That is good news to me as I need that stock decibel level in the cab at times and is also why I am purchasing this exhaust.
But I wanted to know if you had your stock resonators still installed when you made this post, or were they already removed? I'm trying to decide if I should just go ahead and remove the resonators when they install the exhaust, or wait and see for myself first. I'm sure it will save me a few bucks and some time if I have them do it all at once.
Alright guys I installed the gthaus exhaust system a couple days ago. I was getting a rattle on start up and during low rpm driving, put the car up on the lift and it looks like the heat shield is resting on the resonated x pipe section.
did any of you guys have to remove the heat shield or cut it to prevent it from rattling, or making contact with the resonator?
I don't get any rattles at all with mine. I shaped and bent that shield to make sure there's proper clearance between it and the pipes. It is really soft and easy to do, I didn't cut or trim it at all.

I figured out the rattle noise, a part inside the resonator actually broke off and was rattling inside. The whole midsection was cracked all over as well, thankfully I got it fixed by my friend who owns a fabrication shop.
