Based on some other posts Now I am worried about putting springs on the oem shocks and causing failures and leaks :/

I have this same concern, anyone know if these springs will be okay on stock shocks or should aftermarket shocks be used?

I've had swift springs on now for 10 months and I love them. No problems at all and I drive the car pretty hard. The car should have came with them from the factory.

I've only seen one person on here who experienced leaky shocks with RSR springs I think. Countless others have springs and no reports of an ongoing issue. Certainly it probably stresses the shock a little bit but by how much? You need to swap out every 50k miles anyways. Here's my counterpoint to springs. Lexus sells f sport springs for the IS and RC. They drop the car by about an inch. And youd be covered under warranty. Given that, even OEMs aren't too concern otherwise they would not offer F sport springs .

I've never seen f sport springs! So the swift will void warranty?

Here you go

Again this is not for RCF. Just making a point that Lexus has lowering springs that won't void warranty and they dont offer F sport shocks.

+1 for swift. I also have swift spring and it feels like stock but little bit more stiff and decreases the wheel gap.

If you had a problem with the suspension and Lexus (or at least your dealership) knew or saw that you had aftermarket components in it, YES it would void the warranty - technically.

If you pulled up with leaky struts 3 months after putting in new springs, of course the dealership is going to try to avoid a warranty claim, why wouldn't they?

Hello, does anyone know if swift provides certain directions during installation? A friend will be giving me his swift springs for free(he upgraded to coilovers) and I would like to install it on my own so I don't waste a single cent until I get coilovers.
