Which brand are you thinking about? Seems like many would be available through vendors here with less worry IMO.

I am about to install some Rays,
19x9.5 et 40 up front
And 19x 10.5 et 23 rears.
Stock height.
Am I going get away with 295/30 or 305/30 rears or be relegated to 285s
Want to do 275/30 up front.
Thx in advance.

Dont know if you already have everything purchased or not. Please go with what you feel is best, but just some info sharing.

Yes a 295 or 305 works on the rear just fine. The problem you might run in to is the offset of that wheel with that size tire. A +23 is aggressive for the rear on a 10.5. I run a 20x11 +40 with a 295 PS4 and you will stick out about 10mm more than me with a 295/30 because of your offset. I sit almost flat faced flush with the fender well now. I am pretty low on Penske coils, but to run a +23 id have to bring my car up quite a bit to not rub. My specs are below if interested.

20x9.5 +28
20x11 +40
265/30 295/30 Michelin PS4's

Question for anyone who can answer. A shop is telling me to go with 255/35/20 on a 20x9. However my car is lowered on swift springs and thinking the 35 might rub. I was going to switch to 255/30/20.

To match the stock 255/35/19, you would need 255/30/20

Well to tell you the Truth, I Would Not want to have to wipe down EVERY Spoke on BOTH sides of these wheels times FOUR Wheels! I Guess to each his Own & I Probably Don't want to know the $$$$$ Tag that comes with them! To ME, I've never seen ANY wheels that cost 4-5k $$$$$ that look That much Better than my 10 spoke OEM black chrome ones (not to mention they're SO Easy to clean). JMO

I put 255/30/20 on my front 9” wide rims and the tires cracked pretty fast like if the car was too heavy for a 30 series profile. Tires were hankook v2s so maybe that was the problem.

Hankook V2...or V12? And that size tire for the front on a 9in wheel should not have given you any issues.

What Members have gone to an aftermarket Staggered 19" Wheel and switched over their Stock Rubber - 255/35/19 & 275/35/19? Despite all those "Configurators" we've all played around with online, Ive struck out on 3 Brands because the "Drop Center" will not clear our Calipers.

I ask this because I just had some horrible luck w beautiful Ace Alloys in a 20" setup and had to buy a new Wheel & Tire to replace the Right Front. Was thinking of posting them in Marketplace for sale but have seen people get knocked around on pricing like they fought Mike Tyson! 😳

I would stand firm in your asking price. Considering you drive an RCF and have done premium upgrades to it I doubt money is a factor and you are probably not in a position to sell your wheels right now. Assuming you are not selling them for what you paid then whomever buys them will be getting a deal so I would not budge....if they have to sit in your garage for awhile so be it.

Would have to answer...No to the 1st statement, wish I could agree w those who say "Money doesn't buy happiness" but I cant!

On the 2nd statement - The Brand New Wheel and Tire arrived today, so the set is now complete and for sale for the right price. (No idea what that'll be yet) but I know up front I will never come close to getting a fraction of whats into them. Hell, I went ahead and Ceramic Coated them all for Free just to help em move!
Was told that getting 70% of their original cost is fair to both parties, though w the new wheel & tire I'll be upside down regardless. We shall see. If ya know anyone who "may" be interested send them my way please!

OOH-RAH!

Wait how come you're selling if you have the 4th wheel back? Did you already replace it with a new set?

If chrome wheels suited my gray rcf better I'd look into it more.

Yes, the brand new 20" Ace Alloy in "Black Chrome", shod w brand new Michelin PS4S arrived yesterday. The other 3 Wheels have all been meticulous cleaned and Ceramic Coated. No charge.

I'd like to sell the entire set because I'm what's called a "Fortune Teller" when it comes to "Distorted Cognitions" (Seriously, that's what it's called too-lol) and what I forsee is that I'll be right back in the same situation again w a dented wheel and ruined tire to replace due to the incredibly brutal potholes within the whole Metro DC, MD, VA area. I'd rather take a loss on the sale to help get me into a set of 19" wheels - which has proven to be extremely unsuccessful since no one makes a staggered set of 19s that clear the brake calipers on the RCF (Except Lexus of course!)
