White with black wrap
Love the accents! Great idea with the hood vent, looks great! I didn't realize it comes off that easily. Hope by the time I get an RC F, they'll have a carbon fiber direct replacement piece
Speaking of which, I wonder how the hoods on the the RC F carbon fiber models will come. If the entire hood is carbon fiber, I would imagine the vent piece is as well?

I was referring to the trim around the vent on the hood. The OP wrapped it in black, and I was wondering if that piece will come in carbon fiber on the carbon fiber models, since the hood will already be carbon fiber.
The hood on both the carbon and non-carbon is aluminum, and the vent will not be carbon fiber.
Which actually answers the original question I had. Seems like the carbon fiber hood wont have a separate trim piece for the vent

That looks really great! Love the white with black roof look.
What vinyl did you use? We just traded my wife's 335i in on an Alpine White M235i and I am planning on wrapping the roof the same way. Also if you could take a picture closer up to the sunroof it would be appreciated!
Hope you're enjoying your new rcf!

SUNROOF- The installer was able to lift the rubber trim around the sunroof and tuck it in. He then had to open the sunroof and clean up some of the edges that were tucked.
I always use REAL 3M Scotchprint 1080 film. Side note....If anyone use a carbon vinyl make sure it isn't the kind that is a true weave. If you can feel ridges as you bend it (think snake skin) then it won't last too long on a roof in the sun. It will dry rot and eventually flake. I believe someone on here wrapped in carbon but it had a gloss film over it.

With regards to the sunroof; that is how I imagined it was done, but wasn't sure. I have done a pretty good amount of vinyl wrapping, but nothing as large as an entire roof. Basically I have just done a bunch of trim on other cars.
Hope you are enjoying your RC, and I look forward to more pictures!
Edit: I would like to add that I am not a big fan of the fake Carbon Fiber. I think that gloss black looks much better when doing a vinyl wrap. I have never seen a CF wrap that looked even remotely real, and IMO it takes away from the elegance of a car like the RCF and would make it look very cheap. Real CF (like I have in my M6 on the roof and trim) has a three dimensional look that you can not (to my knowledge) replicate with a sheet of vinyl. Furthermore, from a distance of more than a few feet, real CF appears to be just another gloss black surface, so I see no need to fake it when gloss black looks so good!
Basically, if you want a carbon RCF, wait until March!

ALSO- Be aware that a small amount of water can get under the shark fin antennae and under the seal of the sunroof rubber. Both leaked water when the installer lifted the seals. (I had just washed it)
Have a friend lay the entire vinyl piece over the car covering the sunroof.
Do the sunroof last...cutting away the glass part. Then tuck under rubber seal. Then open sunroof and you can see the imperfections tucked under...trim those even.
You could try it a different way with the sunroof open earlier. The rubber piece moves with the glass.
My guy thought sliding it back before it was done would snag the wrap in process.
