Doesn't seem like there is AVS or leather......even as an option.

Does any M4 cost $113,500? The pricing in Europe has nothing to do with the North American market. All the UK pricing is telling, is that it is cheaper than the M4 spec for spec.
All I am saying is that it's a lot of USD to buy an RC F in England.

C&D did a test on the new M3 sedan, same 0-60 as E90 and .2 sec faster 1/4 mile - despite losing 100 lbs and gaining 111 ft lbs of torque. Not impressive. Im sure it handles better and daily drives better with the lower end power compared to the V8

You are right when comparing manual to manual (E90 vs F30). It has tested to be only 2/10ths quicker in similar testing conditions.

However, the M-DCT would be 1/10th - 2/10th quicker around 12.2 - 12.3 seconds. I fully expect the RC-F to be in the same ballpark in a straight line. Give or take 1 or 2 tenths.

Based on current FX conversion rates... lets make sure we have the right numbers

£59,135 = $98,655 in USD

£59,995 = $100,090 in USD

£67,995 = $113,436 in USD

£51,995 = $86,744 in USD

For what its worth, the base 2012 IS F in GBP was £57,105 = $95,269 in todays market

Don't even get started on prices...

The M4-DCT in Australia has a base price of AUD $167k. Driveaway (including duty, dealer charges etc) is $179k AUD.

Based on today's currency exchange, AUD $167k = USD $156k.

Torque vectoring diff is priced at 3500 in the UK?

So when the RC-F pricing is released in the US, the diff will be possibly $2-3k in US dollars? Quite a highly priced option....

The options may be the carbon model with the TVD or the non-TVD model.

And the IS-F by comparison has been untouchably priced high in Asia and Australia--$120-140 US. Japanese exes that I met last year said they just can't afford the Fs. Why? I have aways maintained that Lexus wants to have the F association with the entire line, and this was confirmed with the launch of the F-sport. Let's face it: the F-sport and the F have little in common when it comes to performance, but folks want the F-Sport emblem on their cars.

It is rumored that the actual production cost for the LFA was near one million. The car sold for considerably less.

It's all about brand development and selling less expensive cars in the line up and reaping profits in volume sales.

In 2012, the base IS-F sold for around $90,000 US and approximately $100,000 US loaded in the UK.

Based on what I am reading here, I would not be surprised to see the price for the carbon with torque vectoring hit the low $80ks in the US.

I drove in Scotland and England last year, and as I recollect the cars had electronic parking brakes. It may be a requirement in the UK.
