Has anybody taken advantage of the current offers in the Golden Opportunity sales event? I'm considering replacing my IS 350 with an RC-F and the current offer in my area is for $769 per month, 36 months, 10k miles, with $4500 due at signing.
Would it be possible to do better than this? My local dealer has none in stock. According to cars.com there are four available within 100 miles, all base, all priced between 75-79K, which seems pretty high.

If you're not paying 12k under MSRP you're doing it wrong though. There is a lot of fat in the MSRP. Look at Truecar and what others in your zip code are paying for them.

Hi everyone, been lurking this forum for a while. Previous GS300, GS400, and GS350 owner. Currently have an Infiniti G37s coupe and a Porsche 997 Targa 4 and looking at the RC-F to replace both cars. I found the following deal at mid-atlantic dealer and wanted some feedback. A brand new untitled 2015 model with a $73.9k MSRP has been offered to me for $55.5k. Is this a good deal considering the car is nearly two model years old? Thanks.

you may have found the better unicorn. A 2015 with zero owners/miles sounds almost too good.
what color and does it have the Performance or Premium package? ML sound system?

As a comparison, I just paid 58k in February for a fully loaded 2015 with only 1700 miles and lexus certification.

Thanks for the reply! Its a Silver on Red with Premium Package, NAV and the upgraded wheels (I believe they're called option 2?). It does not have the Mark Levinson Stereo or Performance Package (bummer) but given the deal I'm inclined to accept it. Here's the kicker, they are throwing in maintenance until 25k miles as well.

I was looking at this exact same car. There are two of these with that color combo in the mid-Atlantic region. 2015s w/no ML. I was able to talk them one of them down to $55K. I'd negotiate lower especially since the cars will be nearing 3 yrs. old. Unfortunately, for me I can't work out a deal w/my local dealer on getting any cars beyond the West Coast region.
As for one of those 2015 models, there was a mileage discrepancy. On cars.com, it was listed at 48. When I got sent pics of the car, mileage was actually at 200. They couldn't explain the increase in the mileage. Also, the GM and internet sales manager had no knowledge about the fuel pump issue, rattles, etc. A pic of the rotors showed rust. If these issues aren't a concern, go for it. These 2015s may not have any problems. I'd check out the cars in-person.

I saw the one in NY and I don't like it as much due to the base wheels. I also noticed the rust on the rotors you were referring to. I like the other silver on red because of the wheels and because it looks cleaner. Thanks for the lookout though!

I just want to clarify something about rust.
Every single car will have rust on the rotor at one point or another since its exposed metal without rust protection.
If you drive a few miles it'll get cleaned off on its own.
Even though it may look ugly try to minimize that factor when it comes to how you see the car (do use it during negotiation with the salesman though).

I've pretty much all but worked out a deal for $53k. It has the TVD which is a plus but no Levinson which is kinda a bummer. The car now has nearly 400 miles but at that price I don't care anymore. It does have some light scratches and a coupe stone chips here and there. Nothing a good detail/paint correction shouldn't be able to fix though.
